Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

Makes 2 dozen cookies

  • 120g unsalted butter
  • 120g caster sugar  
  • 90g brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs (60g)
  • 330g  Healthy Baker Plain Flour
  • 2  tablespoons baking powder
  • 120g/1 cup chocolate chips drops
  • 60g/1/2cup walnuts, chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°.
  2. Grease baking trays well.
  3. Cream together the butter and both sugars until light and creamy.
  4. Add the lightly beaten eggs gradually, beating well after each addition.
  5. Mix in the sifted flour and baking powder and then add the chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Ensure the mixture is mixed well.
  6. Shape small balls of the mixture and place onto the prepared trays.
  7. Allow room for spreading.
  8. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 10-12 minutes.
  9. Remove from the trays carefully and cool on wire racks.
